Frequently Asked Questions

How does the repair process work?

After you submit the contact form, I'll review your request and respond within 24–48 hours. Once we confirm the issue, I’ll provide instructions for shipping or drop-off.

How do I ship my device?

You’ll receive packing instructions after contacting me. Customers are responsible for shipping devices to and from the repair location. Return shipping costs will be included in the final invoice or provided via prepaid label after diagnosis. Devices should be securely wrapped, powered off, and shipped with tracking.

How long do repairs take?

Most repairs take 2–7 business days depending on part availability and complexity. Vintage or specialty repairs may take longer. You will receive an email and an additonal consultation if the price to repair your device exceeds the estimated price, or estimated repair time.

How do payments work?

Payment is requested only after diagnosis and approval of the repair via Square. You’ll be notified before any work is completed.

Return Policy?

All repairs include a 30-day limited workmanship warranty starting from the date the device is returned to the customer. This warranty covers only the specific repair or service performed. If the same issue reoccurs due to workmanship or installation error within 30 days, the device may be repaired again at no additional labor cost. This warranty does not cover: New or unrelated issues Accidental damage (drops, cracks) Liquid damage Electrical surges or power-related issues Normal wear and tear Issues caused by misuse, modifications, or third-party repairs Pre-existing or age-related component failures Parts are subject to manufacturer limitations and availability. No guarantee is made on the lifespan of refurbished or vintage components. Shipping costs are not covered under the warranty and remain the customer’s responsibility.

What if my package gets lost?

Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping their device to us with tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for devices lost, delayed, or damaged during shipping to or from our location. Once a repair is completed, devices are returned using tracked shipping. Insurance is recommended for high-value items. In the event of shipping damage or loss, claims must be filed with the carrier. We are happy to assist with documentation when possible.

What do I do if my device needs replacement parts?

Customers will be notified when parts are needed, and parts are paid separately by customer (or reimbursed)
